2013 release, the sixth album from the internationally renowned, multi-platinum vocalist. Groban co-wrote seven of the 12 tracks that appear on All That Echoes, which also includes five covers, including Stevie Wonder's 'I Believe (When I Fall in Love It Will Be Forever)', Glen Hansard and Markta Irglov 's 'Falling Slowly' (the Oscar-winning song from the film Once), and Jimmy Webb's 'The Moon's A Harsh Mistress.' Special guests on the album include Grammy-winning trumpet player Arturo Sandoval and Italian superstar vocalist Laura Pausini.
I love Josh Groban and his voice. His first and second cds were wonderful - they take me on a European vacation that I never had. His Awake cd was great so I was really looking forward to this cd but I was disappointed when I listened to it. In some of the songs it's like he's trying to rush the words to make them fit into the music. A couple of the songs are okay, but the cd itself is disappointing.
He was doing so well, with one after another. I'm still not sure why it is that this work just didn't work for me. I just don't know, but it didn't. Not bad, but certainly not up to the levels of his previous work. Oh well . . . next time.
