Fits tight the body like a tank top, May 1 2011

The vest fits tight the upper body like a flexible tank top. The weights are soft, sand-like, and distributed between both the front and the back. They are in horizontal channels sown into the wider back cover and the relatively wide and perfectly comfortable front shoulder straps. The channels form wavy surface touching the body only with the furthest wave crests while the surface between the channels is recessed and away from the skin forming empty spaces ventilating the skin and preventing the vest from sticking to the skin. The fabric is strong, soft, flexible, and neoprene like. It is dirt resistant and easy to wash and maintain. There is a mobile phone packet attached to the shoulder strap and a horizontal strap holding the shoulder straps together. The vest does not shift away from the body no matter how rapid is the body movement. It lays close to the skin at any jumps, leaps, running or body rotations.

Buying my first weighted vest, I was very skeptical at first. I must say though, this vest is VERY durable! It doesn't seem like it, but it is! I bought this, along with a couple other weighted items, to start training and getting my body in shape for the police force at my current job. I'm a dog/cat bather, and this has withstood all the water the dogs have gotten on it, and dog nails climbing up it. The velcro still holds strong, even with all the fur that gets in it. The only drawbacks to it (very, very minor) is that A: a teeny bit too big for my structure. However, being a 5'3" female weighing at 105, it's to be expected. And B: tend to make the collar bones a little sore. I advise wearing it every other day, or not all day long like I've been doing
Short answer: Buy it! If you want something that lasts, and gives a great work out, get it. You won't be sorry!

Bought this at Sports Authority... It only has one very thin velcro strap for the chest and isnt adjustable at all. When doing any high intensity workout, the "vest" bounces everywhere and doesnt stay still. Running with it is extremely annoying. Returned it after one workout.
