I bought this lamp and the cool white version too. Both are very good, but I find that for indoor use the cool whites are just too bright. The warm whites put out great light and, if the power ratings and the life expectancy claimed by the manufacturer are true, I will never buy an incandescent lamp again. If you are looking to switch to LED, look no further, these things are great.

WOW. Nice and bright light. This is my first experience with an LED light bulb,and my first impression was its weight. I guess that is the heat sink. The light is nice soft white, it is nice and bright. This LED lamp replaces a florescent bulb and I think the light is more like an old incandescent. Any how I like it and would recommend it to anyone looking to try new technology in an LED. The box says its burn time is 50,000 hours. That's 2,083 days or 5.71 years burning 24 hours a day. (if my math is correct) Hope this helps.

Good construction and nice light, but with a connection problem.

After much work, I just install the lamp to assess their brightness and durability.
The physical appearance of the lamp indicates a product is very well designed and look that inspires confidence.
I had much trouble getting it to work because the threaded plug is shorter than the socket I have at home, preventing electrical contact (especially in Brazil).
For this reason I thought initially that the units were defective, but noticed this problem in the contact socket after closer inspection.
Luckily I had a screw extender, bought at Home Depot that settled the matter.
I hope the manufacturer addresses this detail to make the product viable for my use.
I will update this information after a few months of use.

We have several LED bulbs in our house. I purchased this one to replace a halogen bulb in our bathroom. Wow, this is bright. Much brighter than the 60w halogen bulb. And it uses 1/6th of the electricity. This is a good price for a dimmable bulb. We have had it for a couple weeks and it works great.
