It's a Kindle book by Amazon written about an AWS service. It is what it is. Could it be better written with more examples? Of course. Fortunately, revision updates are automatic. Good that!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good Jan. 5 2014

I really like Amazon web services and DynamicDB (5 stars for that)

But this review is for the Developer guide. I think the guide could use more examples. I was able to decipher what I need, but it could be more comprehensive, especially considering it is a kindle edition so space is not much of a factor. But in the end, I was able to learn what I needed to know, and kindle format is great.
5.0 out of 5 stars DynamoDB throughput provisioning was a deal breaker for me Nov. 6 2013

My company went into production with DynamoDB and the provisioning throughput issues and cost became a major issue for us. We ended up achieving far better results and incredible cost savings by rolling our own using Amazon S3 for a datastore.
