It's frustrating that I arrive at this detail page from the "download to kindle" link in the web-based version of the developer guide, but this Kindle book is not the same version as that web-based content. The Kindle version was last updated March 2013, the online version was last updated November 2014, and there have been significant changes to the documentation in that timeframe (e.g. "Revised Amazon S3 access control documentation April 15, 2014").

HASH(0xa1c158ac) out of 5 stars Looks like bot has written this manual Dec 7 2014

Despite being complete source of info on S3, it features the most cumbersome language to explain works of S3 as well as repeating same sentence over and over again. It seems to be written by a bot or at least doc-generation script. I only read it because I have to. And I cry when I read it.

I thought I prefer hardcover books. This guide was only available by kindle edition. So it went through the hassle of learning how to download a kindle app on windows 8. Turns out it is not a hassle at all. The kindle version of this guide is great.
