I am a bit disappointed and offended Aug. 6 2015
By William Thomas Bernard King - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
My commentary is more with the wording that states that Liberia was colonized by African-American. The Republic of Liberia was never a colony of the U.S. If you go back and read history during that time and what the definition and action of a colonizer did then it will be apparent that Liberia was not a colony. Liberia was settlement established by freed slaves that later became an independent nation. If it was a colony of the U.S. then when it's borders were threatened the U.S. would have come to its aide and in addition it would have had to report to the U.S. government. I am a bit disappointed and offended.

Worth reading. This public domain report is good insight to the past, glad it's available.
