This is an extremely informative book for the beginner or seasoned gardener who wants to propagate plants. It is full of pictures and diagrams and step-by-step instructions for any kind of plant you can think of. This book lets you know the best time of year to propagate and what techniques you can use: seeds, cuttings, layering, etc. A fun and informative feature are the photos of seeds to help the gardener with identification. I borrowed a copy from my local library and kept it for as long as I could. I happened to come across it online and hurried to purchase it. It is a book that will be used over and over again.

Extremely pleased with the American Horticultural Society "Plant Propagation"No need to search further, the authors explain everything, when to and how to, and many, many plants are covered with excellent information on grafting and budding as well. I rate it among the best books in my library.

I Have to say this is the best Garden book out of all my Garden books,all the pictures and details in this book is so great, this is one reason I have this book. I checked this book out of the library before I bought this book. The step by step instructions along with the pictures is so helpful. I have never been so interested in a book in my life. Now that I have this book I will be doing more Propagation for family & friends. I Love This Book, you must have if you love to garden.
