Too small font, poor directions,

While the projects are beautiful, good luck following the directions, even if you can read them. I'm a soon-to-be grandmother (surely I'm not the only one of this age wanting to sew for a baby?) with a LOT of sewing experience. Not the best eyes in the world, but I don't usually have trouble reading. My daughter asked me to make the quick-change tabletop set for her. For starters, I can barely read the materials list or the directions. The font is way too small and faint and the page is on pink. Some of the fractions in the supply list are on top of little flowers which makes it virtually impossible to make them out at all. There are very few diagrams for 8 pages of directions, and the ones there are don't help with the trickier aspects of this project. I'm very disappointed with the quality of this book.

Projects are cute, but instructions aren't the best.,

The projects in this book are absolutely adorable. I want to do every single one of them! I'm currently in the process of making the double sided quilt for my baby's crib. I'm finding that the instructions aren't so easy to follow. BUT! That could be because of two reasons: 1) I'm pregnant so I have less patience and 2) I'm not a total beginner sewer, but I'm not Intermediate either. This is a nice book to give to someone who likes to sew and are expecting or has a little one. Love Amy Butler!

I just love this book. I'm going to be made a lot of the items in this book, especially the snuggle blanket.
