Product Description

Amy's attraction to French popstar Adam Bede is getting stronger, but she's unsure if she can risk giving in to her to feelings; she still feels stung at being set-up and betrayed by Jag Mistri. In fact, she's all too aware that everyone seems to be in control of her life, except her. When she tests the boundaries of Solar Records' hold on her career, it backfires drastically. Could Ray Ray really end her dreams so easily? Through Adam's company PPM Amy has a chance to relaunch herself. Amy Peppercorn and the Static Cats tour Germany and then it's on to the American tour that Amy has longed for. Although Amy finds a mate in Angel, the new group is rife with rivalry and anger that threatens to drown the music. And will she listen to the warning bells back home from Beccs, who seems so distant, before it's too late?

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliantl realistic, Mar 22 2007
By Family "Ian H" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Amy Peppercorn (Paperback)
This is such a realistic book. It isn't just about an ordinary girl who lands the popstar's job, Amy Peppercorn is a fiery, emotional, totally believable character. John Brindley writes very convincingly, he describes the ups and downs of fame, the family problems, and the feeling of betrayal which is really only emphasised in this third book. I first read it when I was nine or so and I didn't understand it, but now I'm 13 I find it so true!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Ok, nothing special., Nov 11 2004
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Amy Peppercorn : Starry-Eyed and Screaming (Paperback)
Amy Peppercorn is about a normal girl who suddenly becomes a pop star. The story is simple, easy to read. However, it isn't memorable- at all. Recommend to borrow from your local library-save your money.
