captivating and enjoyable stories - full of heart!,

Lauren B. Davis' engaging and thoroughly enjoyable new short story collection is filled with well-developed, memorable characters. She writes with enormous compassion, and her language is beautiful. We really get to care about these characters and the well-crafted story lines include unexpected, but moving and often humorous, plot twists. Hugely satisfying and highly recommended!

I liked this collection very much - the stories are lively and often humourous. Davis writes well, and each story has it's own unique sensibility. My favorite was the title story - An Unrehearsed Desire - it's accessible, thoroughly engaging, funny, and I loved the principal character and her husband.
