Ripping good mystery! Aug. 26 2013
By L.B. - Published on Amazon.com

Imogen Robertson writes with the perfect tone for an eighteenth century mystery. The characters are interesting and multi-layered. She expertly weaves two separate events into one riveting conclusion. I highly recommend "Anatomy of Murder" to anyone who loves an excellent mystery, well defined characters and informative historical tidbits. I was totally pulled in and emotionally invested in this book. Highly recommend!!!!

Robertson delivers history and mystery with ease April 9 2013
By Lynn Whitman - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
The second book in this excellent series delivers on the promise of the first. The London scene and personal costs of the British from the American rebellion is crafted to inform as well as entertain with a new duo detecting while learning to trust one another with individual family grief always in mind.
Well-Written But An Army of Characters July 23 2014
By NYC Lap Swimmer - Published on Amazon.com

Good Plot, Well-Written . . . but again, just as in the author's other books, there are just too many characters. If you only have a little time in the evenings to read fiction and want a restful book, this is NOT a good choice. Resist the temptation of buying Kindle versions so that you can look back and remember the minor characters and the incidents they are involved in.
Gift for a discerning reader friend Nov. 20 2013
By Little One - Published on Amazon.com

I bought this series for a birthday gift for a friend who is very discerning about how a book is written and edited as he was a journalist and editor for many years. He said he enjoyed these very much and that they are better written than most in this genre. He found himself going back and re-reading sentences because they were a delightful use of language.

Excellent characters, history, and settings! A very satisfying series. I'm looking forward to new additions to Harriet and Crowther's adventures.
