This deck consists entirely of goddesses and heronines from greek Mythology. If you have a particular interest in Greek deities this deck is definatly for you. I love it - the art work is amazing and each card has a key word on it and then in the booklet you can learn more about the message and the myth of who that goddess was. A great way to learn more about lesser known Greek female figures too. I didn't realize how many there were and they all have such beautiful things to teach us. I highly recommend this.

This deck is a little different from any that I have worked with before. The Goddesses and Heroines are categorized in the accompanying little booklet in an interesting mix that is energetic, historic, and erudite, while remaining simple to absorb. The images themselves are beautiful, and all appear in a context of background and landscape. The messages are through a lens of consciousness, without watering down--or making wrong--raw and powerful passions. Each card contains a complete story. My only criticism is that the little booklet has a few misprints, and is a little small and hard to read. It is nonetheless charming--rather than slick.
