I didn't catch, in the description, that it was a play - not a novel. A good story though and I think that I'd actually enjoy the play.

To the people who "didn't realize this was a play": April 11 2010
By coyotelaugh - Published on
Format: Paperback
It says "Dramatists Play Service" on the cover. The cover is a bland cover of the type typically used for scripts, not a fancy, well-designed book jacket. Should've been obvious, is all I'm saying.

For those of us who DO like plays, this one is excellent. A cute comedy about a Hollywood actor nominated for his first Oscar, who dies the night before the Academy Awards and convinces his guide in the afterlife to let him go back to see if he won. Lighthearted, but with some very touching moments. Get the right actors in there, and there's some wonderful opportunities for physical comedy and funny rapid-fire exchanges of dialogue.

I thought this would be a book; it is a play. The product was in excellent condition; however, the play is not one of my favorites.

Boring, none of Mitch's book have come near Tuesday's With Morrie. I won't bother buying any more of his books.

This wasn't what I expected. It is a play, not a novel. I'll offer it for resale.

A play?? Nov. 3 2010

I had not realized that this book would be a booklet of a play.
Perhaps I read the description too rapidly; oops! Was planning to return it, but instead I'll donate it to Half Price Books, here in the Dallas,TX area. Honestly, have not made time to read it yet; probably won't, since I was disappointed that it was not a book.

It's ok... just going to learn from my mistake, as I'm only human.
