I little dated but still spot on for Flash/Android app development June 18 2014

I borrowed a copy of this from a friend and I liked it so much I bought my own copy. It has some solid advice for Android development (I now make games and small apps for area businesses) and the sample code is like any code "cookbook" so code is easy to use and solutions are easy to find. It also has a ActionScript reference in the back, something I wish Adobe had given me when I plunked down all that money for their development suite of products. With Adobe's AIR toolkit, we Flash programmers can move from simple websites to complex and profitable handheld apps, and since Android devices are everywhere, the help in this book is well worth the money.
You will learn what you need with this. Nov. 29 2013

Excellent book and easy to understand. Great book for intermediate not so much for a beginner. However, its a starting point of sorts.
How to start with Android Jan. 30 2012

There is a quite a rumor about Android nowdays. Those
who can handle SDK for Android and like to jump into
realy almost elementary coding do not need such a book.
In my case I am quite competent in Action Script 3 applicable
in Adobe Flash and such a pack of info how-to-do Anroid apps
is priceless. Therefore 5 stars, without any hesitation.
Certainly, for the folk more competent - such a book is not
sofisticated enough. Frankly, I am not such a geek and perhaps
never be. To me - again - 5 stars.

The book looks like brand new but charged at a much lower price. Thanks a lot. It really helps me.
