I've never reviewed anything online before, but there is a first time for everything and Angel of Vengeance deserves to be talked about! I was a huge fan of Moonlight and Trevor Munson, so I was ecstatic to find out the book that inspired my favourite show had finally been published. I ordered it right away and pretty much devoured every page as soon as I started reading it. I don't think you need to be a fan or even familiar with Moonlight to enjoy AoV, as long as you enjoy gripping vampire or detective stories; and with AoV you get both! The story grabs you from the first words and is a fast-paced ride right until the end, and it only leaves you hungry for more. (Please Trevor!!)
I encourage you to sink your teeth into this wonderful book.

I'm a fan of the Moonlight series and I was so excited to read this book. The noir feel of the show is amplified in this awesome book. The storytelling is tremendous. Mick Angel is the new Mick St. John. Thanks Trevor!!
I definitely recommend this book to everyone. It's a great read from start to finish. I can't wait to see what Trevor O. Munson comes up with next.

After watching the show "Moonlight" I could not wait to read this book. I was not disappointed. It is by far one of the best Vampire books I have read in years.When you start reading, you're not going to be able to put the book down.I highly recommend this book for all Vampire lovers and for people who enjoy reading books that keep you entertained until the end

Being a huge fan of Moonlight, I couldn't WAIT for this book to be published. Having read excerpts of it in the past, I was anxious to read the finished product.

Well worth the wait. From the first few words, Angel of Vengeance grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go until you've read the last word. This is the way vampires should be written...as monsters who kill. The only thing that keeps Mick from being a total monster are his rules - no women, no children, no innocents. Just a sliver of humanity to separate him from the animals.

Mick Angel's world is dark and violent, and Trevor brings that across in a fierce first-person narrative. Being a lover of flowing prose, it took me a bit to get used to his rapid-fire writing and choppy sentences, but some of his phrasing just sings its way off the page and makes you smile - how can you not love phrases like "The band plays me over the shoe-worn carpet..."? I also very much enjoyed the contrast between the story-telling feel of Mick's past in 1946, and the terser feel of his description of the present. Mostly, I found Mick Angel's story to be unbelievably sad - in well-chosen words, Trevor does a bang-up job of conveying Mick's complete aloneness in his life as a vampire, and the circumstances that brought him to where he is. The raw grittiness of this novel is reminiscent of the noir detective novels of the past, and I can't recommend this book highly enough.

Give it a read - you won't be disappointed. I wasn't.
