5.0 out of 5 stars It is a great CD March 22 2001
Format:Audio CD
I get this item and I can say is great, if you really want to get an idea about the vienna boys choir's work, you have to get this, you can admire the soloist voice, Emanuel Cencic, he has an outstanding voice, principally the track "let the bright querubin" but in general is a great compilation, you can stop listening.

3.0 out of 5 stars Found it to lack real depth Jan. 12 2000
Format:Audio CD
The songs are nice and the music pleasant to listen to, but the titles are fairly short and there is something missing. I just didn't find it to be very moving, perhaps it's just the recording.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Angelic voices July 6 2013
By Juti McKissock - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
This is a very awesome collection of the Vienna Boys Choir's music. The music is stunning and masterly performed. Both the classical and the folk song side is remarkable. I would like to mention the solist's beaautiful angel like voice as well, he performs both Mozart's Exultate Jubilate and Strauss' "Voices of Spring" Waltz with such an admirable technique that the listener can't help, but gasp with tearful eyes. Very well done!
4.0 out of 5 stars Good despite the silly cover. Feb. 18 2013

The traditional selections on this CD are quite good and give a decent range of styles and performers. I am pleased with the purchase and enjoy repeat listening.
