About the Author

Deborah Vaughan is an Anglican priest. She has a Master of Divinity from Trinity College and a journalism degree from Ryerson Polytechnic Institute in Toronto. She has written for newspapers, presented numerous workshops, and been featured on radio and television.

Jean Porche is a writer, lecture, and experienced teacher. She has taught students from grades 5 through 12, and has conducted teacher training for religious educators. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English Education and is a certified learning therapist.

I thought this book was packed with lots of interesting facts about angels. It is a perfect starting place for those who are wondering what angels are and how they act in your life.

The authors have done a great deal of research to help the average person understand how angels have been perceived throughout history, throughout various faiths and also, how you can contact your own angel. I'd buy it for my grandma or my friends. It is easy to understand and helped me a lot.

I highly recommend it!!

I liked the book because it was more normal than Doreen Virtue's stuff. I read her book on angels but it was pretty way out. Like when she talks about people with spaceships attached to them and people who are cats in human bodies and calls them all kinds of angels. I don't think they are angels.

I wanted somthing that would talk about angels and this book was good because it did and was clear and easy to understand. I learned to write to my angel from this one and it is very helpful to do so.

If you think of angels in a normal way, you will like this book. If you want to read about angels from outer space, you will not.

I think the first reviewer was pushing that other lady's book, myself.

It seems to me that the author of this book Ms.Porche needed all the help she could get, heavenly and els wise. She rambles at times, with little logic. It is basically Doreen Virtues work very poorly recycled. However if your looking for a book that deals with angelic beings I would highly recommend "Testimony of Light," by Helen Greaves.
