Product Description

VegNews, July/August 2009
“[A] wheat-, gluten-, dairy-, and processed-sugar free collection of raw confections to die for. Most of Desserts’ recipes are fast, easy, and have no more than six ingredients, often fewer. It almost feels like cheating to be able to create tasty, intricate, and stylish treats without going through chef training.”, 7/16/09
“Phyo's second book focuses on the sweeter side of raw with 85 recipes (Almond Frangipane Kream and Raspberry Ganache Fudge Cake, anyone?) that will have your sweet tooth clamoring for more.”

Feminist Review, 8/18/09
"Ani's Raw Food Desserts is a surprising and satisfying tour of the possibilities of raw dessert preparation. Raw food connoisseurs and novices alike will find new favorite snacks and treats among Phyo’s imaginative creations.”

Oxygen, December 2009 “These raw-food sorbets, cakes and cookies use clean-eating staples such as nuts and fruit to satisfy your child’s cravings and your health-conscious mind.”

Vegetarian Journal, Vol.29, Issue 2, 2009
“Scrumptious desserts without ever having to turn on the stove.”

5.0 out of 5 stars Floating in Bliss! April 27 2009
By Angèle
Frozen Treats, Ices, Cookies, Cakes with Frosting, Cobblers, Parfaits and even .....Chocolate!!!!! Every Recipe is really simple to make, and a lot of them uses ingredients I can actually fined here at home. I have seen a lot of raw food/desserts before that don't even look edible and definably don't taste that great, but i have not found one in this book. Just flipping threw the pages as I write this review makes me want to go whip up another guilt less indulgence.

5.0 out of 5 stars Scrumptously impressed Aug. 16 2010
I am new to the who raw thing... I ordered 4 books.. and this by far is the best one. The great thing is.. you don't even need a dehydrator for her recipes. This book is full of photos which give you a better idea of what the finished product will look like.. so far I have made the " key lime kream bars.... and the " chocolate sauce" which tastes absolutely delicious on the "frozen bananas". This book is great for a beginner like myself. The recipes in this book are great for raw vegans.. but anybody can enjoy them. Fantastic book.. definitely worth getting. A+ for Ani's raw dessert book.

5.0 out of 5 stars raw and delicious Oct. 2 2010
By Akasha
Ana is truly amazing. I have tried many of her recipes and they are great and easy. I have since ordered another of her books.
Tried the dipped strawberries and can't get enough of them. Her apple cobbler is pretty good. The strawberry Kream cheezecake is amazing.
The recipes are easy but some of the ingredients are hard to find so I just impro-vised and they turned out great and still delicious.

Expensive ingredients. Not appealing results. May be healthier, but not as tasty as the original good stuff. I wont look at Raw again.
