Eric Garcia is originally from Miami> He attended Cornell University and the University of Southern California, where he majored in creative writing and film. He is the author of the upcoming Casual Rex.

L.A. private "dino" detective Vincent Rubio is as down and out as a guy, with a tail, can get--no work, no partner, and no money. Maxwell Caulfield is a hip performer with a dry wit and a strong grasp of character analysis. His portrayal of Rubio is smooth and savvy, and listeners might even believe Rubio is humanly resourceful. Caulfied's New York accents are clever, and his female impersonations are delicious. The plot is bizarre, the pace fast, and the cliches poignant. Charismatic and sensitive, Caul-field's performance enhances a human-reptile combo, inviting a cult following.
