Anna Olson has hosted four seasons of the program Sugar on Food Network Canada. She is the owner of Olson Foods & Bakery in the Niagara region. She is the author of Sugar, a consistent best-seller, and the coauthor with her husband of Anna and Michael Olson Cook at Home.

This is my first one of Anna's cookbooks and I have to say that I am in love with it. The recipes are fun and simple but at the same time sophisticated. I have made quite a few of them and they are absolutely delicious. She classifies the recipes according to key ingredient/colour such as the white section has milk and sugar recipes, the yellow section has oranges, lemon and butter recipes and so on. The book has a lot of fruit, nuts, chocolate recipes. It also features switch ups for the recipes. This book is a must have for anyone.

There are a lot of recipies but only a few pictures. I like pictures in a cooking book, but here you don't find them too much :(
