So very different-quite compelling,
By A Customer
Penny Vincenzi has written a very entertaining different story. The characters are dimensional, with very real touching story lines. The story itself it quite fascinating---I thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the ending--the reader has to use their own creativity a bit which is wonderful.

Not as good as her other books,
By Shaul Anbinder "Reader" - Published on Amazon.com
I think Penny Vincenzi is a wonderful writer, who develops rich characters and unexpected, exciting plots. This book was good but not as great as Penny's other books. I would have liked a "closure" of some sort. Although of course I can use my imagination and come up with my own ending - I would have prefered for the author to write one.

An ending would have been nice,

This is the fifth book by Penny Vincenzi I have read-- The Spoils of Time Trilogy, and Sheer Abandon, and now, Another Woman. Her stories are all very involved with loads of characters, and make good reading. However, when I came to the last page of Another Woman, I thought maybe some pages were missing-- the pages that would have wrapped up the story, solved the mystery, and made sense of my spending many hours reading this 551 page book. All that reading, and nothing solved, nothing revealed, we don't find out what happened to the missing sister, no ending. It just stops. I feel very cheated-- I had been reading expectantly, anxious to find how it all turns out, and --- it doen't turn out at all. This book has NO ENDING. It just stops, leaving everything up in the air. I am giving it four stars because for 550 pages I enjoyed it- waiting for the exciting climax, the promise that never came. What a disappointment.
