Book Description
The AORA Gemstone Oracle Cards are a 44 card and book set used to study the metaphysical and spiritual properties of gemstones & crystals. It is considered a Tarot-style card system. Each oracle card was created from an original work of art designed for the set. The 112 page book that comes with the set, contains instructions and techniques to go with the 44 cards. In addition, we have included a small pocket bookguide that gives the reader "at a glance" information about gemstones. It contains 2 of the 6 techniques (readings) found in the main book. In addition, the bookguide contains 44 "gemstone messages" used in the "Gemstone of the Day" reading. The book is divided up into 9 sections. Each section relates to a different aspect of crystals & gemstones; their healing and mystical properties. There is a description of each of the 44 gemstone cards listed alphabetically. Each description contains information about the name, color, culture, gemstone family, chakra and picture title. The book contains a glossary of any unique or unusual words or terms found in the book. We have included a section on astrological affinities and on the 8 gemstones families that all gemstones and crystals fit into.

As I was writing, and painting the art for the AORA Gemstone Oracle Cards, I was deeply involved in exploring the ancient history, myths, magic and lore surrounding gemstones. My goal was to bring the best of the ancient worlds wisdom and combine it with the modern day knowledge we have of gemstones. The cards were designed to teach and entertain the user, with information about how crystals heal and balance us. I accessed my own experiences with stones, and shared many insights I gained. Beauty was an essential element in the cards design. I wanted the cards to appeal to all audiences by capturing the essence of each gemstones beauty and energy!
