Almost as good as a dremel.

It's a bit fast on the slowest setting and the shaft isn't balanced so when using drill bits or any precision components it will wobble badly.
I destroyed several axels for a pinewood derby car trying to grind and polish them as it kept grinding unevenly. As a cutting tool or sanding and basic grinding it's fine, but buy a dremel if you want to do any fine detail or precision work. It's big so it can be a little tricky holding it steady. Best to invest in an flexible extension shaft and hang this from above. I purchased a simple pet groomers leash arm for 17 dollars and mounted it to my work bench for a perfect hanger.
