If I purchase this from Apple, the cost is only $35.00. If I buy from Amazon, I'll pay $5 more. Why the difference?

I thought 'hey! why not just pick this up on amazon bc I love shopping here'.But it's $10 more than it is through apple.ca here.. WHAT! (did it go up $5 since the last review? is it going to keep going up? eee)
