As with previous ATHF DVDs, Volume Four comes with a wealth of supplemental features for the series' fans: nine of the 13 episodes feature commentary from the show's creators, which are unfortunately plagued by sound-quality problems. But there's also the complete "Spacecataz," which compiles the brief clips of the Mooninites and Plutonians' ceaseless and ridiculous battles which open each episode into one short feature; a short film titled "Raydon" from the show's producers; "San Diego Must Be Destroyed," an amusing clip featuring the Mooninites which screened at a comic convention; and a featurette on the vocal talent as they record the dialogue for "Spacegate World." A montage of fan art set to the show's music and an intriguing clip for what appears to be the Aqua Teen Hunger Force theatrical feature (titled "Send Us Money for This") round out the offbeat extras. -- Paul Gaita

My second favorite season, close on the heals of season 3,

While each season of ATHF has its gems and usually a couple of clunkers, this is right behind season 3 for sheer inventiveness and lunacy. While some might argue that season 2 was the most consistent, I'd rather see ATHF swing for the fences of insanity, strike out a few times, but knock it out of the park others. I'll put up with a couple of dopey episodes for the great ones that make me laugh until it hurts while my brain explodes from the mix of high, low and insane humor
For me, the genius episodes in Season 4 include; `Video Ouija',`Dusty Gonzangas', and `Hypno Germ' and are closely followed by `Unremarkable Voyage', `E-Dork', T-shirt of the Undead', and `Spacegate World'. Overall, the series has worn off a just bit for me from when I was first blown away by it's sheer dada-esque insanity, but the best episodes still transcend to inspired, sublime levels of bizarre, gross, tweaked humor, leaving you both laughing out loud and shaking your head at the audacity and bravery of the storytelling. When your starting premise is a giant talking shake, fries, and wad of meat living in suburban New Jersey, USA how wrong can you go? If you like strange, gonzo humor (Monty Python would be my generation's touchstone) and/or out-there adult animation, you owe it to yourself to give this a try -- and give it a couple of episodes to let your head get into what the creators are doing.

This review is from: Aqua Teen Hunger Force - Volume Four (DVD)
I love this show it has to be one of my all time fav shows to bake to however I am saddend by the way AS handeled this one, they did a good job for the most part but they put the term "Play all" leteraly this time around and insted of watching all the espiodes in order with out having to select them you get to see them all at once which makes things a tad hard and freaky if you just popped this disk in for the first time after smoking a bowl. The episodes are side spiltting funny esp the espisode "Jee wiz" in which meatwad gets knocked up and i will leave it at that since i don;t wanna spoil anything. The special features rule and you can watch the whole "Spacecatz" in one shot which is cool.
