Best sounding AQUALUNG , ever...!!!,

After many years of too quiet sounding versions of this album , AQUALUNG , finally gets the sound it deserves.YES , it is louder / cleaner and clearer than anything that had came before it. BY FAR. Proving , once again , that you can make a great sounding louder CD with out compression over load. This remasters sound engineer , STEVE WILSON [from the band , Porcupine Tree] seems to get what the people who made the PINK FLOYD [James Guthrie] , BEATLES , GENESIS remasters seem to get. Make it LOUDER but not too much louder. The new stereo re-mix is just stunning. The result is the best sounding version of the regular CD for AQUALUNG , ever!!!

There are so many things a record label can do to ruin a package like this, so I am delighted and relieved to have my expectations for this not only met, but exceeded. This is an absolutely first rate re-issue, lavishly, but sensibly packaged, with wonderful notes, exhaustive in detail (though how the misspelling of John Entwistle's name slipped through is beyond me). The Steve Wilson stereo and 5.1 remixes are glorious, being both revelatory and reverent and the mastering is sympathetic. Just a beautiful job all around, and well worth the cash. Kudos to Amazon.ca for getting this to me on the release date.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!Amazing remix of the classic Jethro Tull Aqualung Album. If you've been listening to this Album for the last 40 years you haven't heard "Nuthin" till you hear this version. This is not just a remaster of the old mix it has been painstakingly remixed then remastered. Thanks for this real treat. Cheers Ian:-)
