One of the worst..., July 31 2010

Yet another poor showing for the DL saga. I know these aren't supposed to be award worthy works of fiction and simply mindless entertainment but this one stretches even that. The only compliment I can provide is that at least the characters were more or less true to form. If you haven't purchased already, it's best to skip this one.
As a side note, after reading several reviews of various DL books I thought I would point out to the uninformed that James Axler is a pen name for a host of writers that contribute to this series. This why why some shine, some stink and continuity is tenuous at best.

The deathlands have evolved. In the early days, the companions would find only dust motes floating in the stillness of vacated ruins. Now they face a ville with security cameras everywhere, soundproof rooms in buildings, electronic equipment and mad scientists. They must come up with individual escape plans after being separated for experimental purposes by the enemy. Our heroes must put their trust on strangers in the ville in order to retrieve their weapons and information necessary for their escape and battle plan.

Arcadian's Asylum, May 17 2010

I have read all of the Deathlands books and I have to say this book is the worst piece of writing I have ever read. Mr. Axler better start reading some of the works he promotes! I will not read another book supported by this author!
I would NOT recommend this book to anyone.
