A worthy entry to the Guild Hunter series!,
By J. Gille "Heyeroine" (Toronto, ON Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Archangel's Blade (Mass Market Paperback)
In contrast to the other 2 reviewers, I think Nalini Singh has created a wonderful story for Dmitri. A dual plot line - each concerning Dmitri and Honor respectively - is seamlessly woven, giving us insight into the characters, beautifully delineating their developing relationship and showcasing the growth of each character. I don't want to reveal plot elements, but I will say that a hint of 'magic' or the 'supernatural' is a very satisfying element of the novel. I am very happy for Dmitri and Honor and think that Nalini has given us a terrific installment in this fabulous series (which I kind of prefer over the Psy-Changeling series :)).This isn't Elena or Raphael's book - while fans would always like to see them (and we do, briefly) - too much of E & R would have taken away from Dmitri and Honor. And congrats to Nalini for creating another remarkable heroine - Elena is hard to follow, but she has succeeded with Honor. It is unfortunate that a previous reviewer revealed the end of the novel; if you've read Nalini's books, have faith in her storytelling ability. It makes absolute sense in the full context of the novel - I only wish we could see them get married :) Can't wait for more books in this series!!

Archangel's Blade,
This review is from: Archangel's Blade (MP3 CD)
Very disappointed in the ending, why not take the high road and say no to the "Making"when Dmitri asked Honor(turning the main female character into a Vampire). It would have been farmore exciting to see this marriage work; Dmitri as Vampire and Honor a human Guild Hunter, specially with her surviving for two long months savage brutal attacks from vampires while she was kept hostage. Badly done, Nalini.
