This is an important series for people who think comics should be comical. As with the earlier volumes, I am impressed with the quality of the stories overall. Not only can readers see the beginnings of the tropes that will be with Archie for generations, they can see them in ways that have not been watered down to their current pabulum state. There is a little edge to this Riverdale, and that makes it so much better. If you have an interest in classic humor comics, you owe it yourself to check out these Dark Horse archives.
