3.0 out of 5 stars It's Not A Literary Masterpiece ..., Mar 3 2005
By Turbo - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Are We There Yet?: Tales from the Never-Ending Travels of WWE Superstars (Paperback)
Don't go into Are We There Yet? looking for a literary masterpiece.

Don't go into Are We There Yet? looking for a whole new take on the world of wrestling.

Are We There Yet? is simply a short, easy, entertaining read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I went in expecting a mindless, entertaining read ... and that's what I got.

As someone who's been a wrestling fan my entire life, I love when the wrestlers shed their in ring characters and act "real" ... this is the epitome of that.

You get funny stories, touching stories, and just plain scary stories. In the end the wrestlers come across as people, just like you and I.

Whether you're reading about The Big Show breaking a toilet in India, or about Tazz, Michael Cole, and Josh Matthews trekking to SmackDown! in a snow storm, all the stories show you a side of the characters you don't normally see.

If you want a simple read, something you don't have to pay all that much attention to, yet still completely enjoy ... this is the book for you.

It's not super high on my all time favorite wrestling book list, but it is different ... and that makes it memorable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't ask for better, Feb 9 2005
By C. Bedford Crenshaw "the Rebel Rockhopper" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Are We There Yet?: Tales from the Never-Ending Travels of WWE Superstars (Paperback)
As the book's cover states, it is a collection of travel stories written by various WWE stars of their various exploits, divided into ten catagories: Good, Bad, Bizarre, Sacrifice, Fraternity, Entertainment, Back in the Day, Food, and Bathroom. The Bathroom chapter was solely Big Show's domain, and was not as scary as one would expect from the terms "Big Show" and "bathroom" being put together. The book is more interesting than humorous; there is too much of "you had to be there" for it to be humorous. It's the perfect book to read while on the road, over a meal at a restaurant, or sitting down in the bathroom, where you may be able to relate with Big Show more.

3.0 out of 5 stars Alright....., Nov 2 2005
By Jenn Hemme - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Are We There Yet?: Tales from the Never-Ending Travels of WWE Superstars (Paperback)
This book is good. It has several chapters, diferent stories. Most are very interesting. I really would have liked to have seen Batista and Torrie Wilson in the book. Are We There Yet, doesn't have many descriptive stories of what their busy lives really are like. It isn't the best book from the WWE, but should be read. It's funny and interesting, with cool pictures!
