Simple designs...many of them pretty big...and except for the visual illusion aspect in the way the designs are made, the book is not really a coloring challange...big geometrical squares that interlock themselves or just plain circles(repeting on several pages)does not quite go to far in coloring creativity process...many of designs leave too much white space in their inner structure or in between them which dilutes the cromatic aspect...I had to fill in those spaces with crayons in order to create an overall light-colored background and not let the white overwhelm the desing...all in all, if you want to try this book, buy it at a bargain price...
