A Fair Edition by an Aspiring Publisher, Mar 12 2009
By Jean-Paul Valois - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Art of War (Paperback)
This book does a step better than the neglected Filiquarian edition (The Art Of War) that is plagued by spelling errors that could have been easily fixed. BN Publishing's edition has obviously been through some proofreading, though it could have used more, as evidenced by this excerpt from page 68:
"Spies are a most important element in water, because on them depends an army's ability to move."
The correct text, of course, would say: "Spies are a most important element in WAR" and not water, however good a swimmer any given spy may be.
The typesetting of this edition is unfortunately less than professional quality, as can be readily seen even just by looking at Amazon's preview of it. But, of course, typesetting is largely an aesthetic thing and, content-wise, if you absolutely have to have the cheapest edition, this one is a decent buy with not too many glaring errors (though, as noted, there is at least one).
The best quality $3.99 or cheaper edition though does seem to be The Art of War from Pax Librorum.
Just remember that at this price you are pretty much guaranteed to be getting the Lionel Giles translation without the annotations... which can be fine, as long as some decent proofreading and bookmaking has gone into the edition. This one, as detailed above, is only about halfway there.

NOTICE! NOT THE WHOLE BOOK!, April 20 2010
By Andrew C. Mcgrory - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Art of War (Paperback)
Unless you read the fine print, you won't be disappointed until this book hits your doorstep. It's only 68 pages, a fraction of the regular book, i am working on sending this back after i post this review. They should post that its not the whole book.

A cliff notes version of the book, April 14 2010
By little BIG Man "LBM" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Art of War (Paperback)
This is just a cliff notes version of the book. I wanted the whole book w/ explanations, but it's just highlights. Don't buy it if you want the whole thing. It'll be good for someone just wanting the main points of it.
