5.0 out of 5 stars gift Oct. 3 2013

I thought I bought a book but obviously it was a video. My husband said this was the best gift I could of ever given him. It is an excellent presentation of blacksmithing in a very easy and understandable form.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good basic review. Sept. 25 2011
Format:DVD
This DVD covers the basic processes involved in blacksmithing in a clear concise manner. While it is intended for the beginning blacksmith, it is also a very good general review for more advanced smiths.
Obviously professionally produced, all the techniques are clear and easily understandable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Demonstrating blacksmithing techniques May 14 2013
By john Popper - Published on Amazon.com
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
The hard back book was a joy to read both for its clarity of content and for the stimulation of creative ideas. The DVD has a very well structured approach to introducing and demonstrating each of the basic techniques scattered with shared experiences of the practicalities of performing the processes demonstrated that have been won through years spent at the forge and anvil. The on screen presentation and quality of camera work is first class and viewer interest never wanders.

Plea: There needs to be a second DVD demonstrating the creation of a few of the designs that Peter creates taking viewers through the processes and skills that enable Peter to craft such appealing works. This DVD to compliment the basic techniques so ably presented in the current DVD.,
