Felt like I was there! Oct. 21 2012

I enjoyed this book, it was fast moving. Good mystery, kept me guessing who the villian was. I am reading another of Gwen Hunter's books and will probably continue to read her books.
I purchased this book at Amazon.Com for my Kindle, it is so convenient.
Gwen Hunter does it again. June 2 2014

This is another great book by an author who doesn't write any other kind. Believable characters and a plot that will keep you guessing until the end. Lots of twists and turns and a very surprising ending.
Vividly Detailed Sept. 27 2013

It is a gift that one is automatically observant. So many people walk through life oblivious to their surroundings, environment. Gwen Hunter is a unique writer who is capable of taking her observations from day to day living and vividly describe a scene that places the reader in that scene. A good twist for the ending completed this good read.
Too much violence and crying for my taste Aug. 31 2013

Writing as Faith Hunter, this author's Jane Yellowrock series is one of my favorites. However, I skipped the last 40% of this book for several reasons. The heroine constantly cried or vomited all over every thing. There was way too much violence against the animals in the story as well as description of injuries in wrecks and the emergency room. I figured out who the villain was less than half-way through the book. Just didn't work for me.

I FOUND IT TO BE EXTREMELY CONSISE AND AN EASY READ. DESCRIPTIVE WITHOUT GOING ON FOREVER. COLORFULL AND INFORMATIVE REGARDING CHARACTERS WITHOUT BORING ME.
