My husband is tough to shop for. But he really enjoyed the Season One DVD, so this "best of" seemed to be a no-brainer. It's not a hokey HGTV type show about remodeling your neighbors Barbie Dream House---it's helpful trouble shoooting including historical renovations on down to toilet replacements. Good stuff :)

This DVD was very useful to me when I bought a 1901 house and wanted to have a basic understanding how things were built back then. The knowledge and insights in this DVD have helped me complete a number of small projects around my house. There are times where I wish I could see more detail but on the whole it is a terrific resource.
