If you plan on getting a 6core processor this isn't the mobo to use. Unless you want to flash bios. Thats if you already have a cpu that can startup with the mobo

I ordered this last week, it got here in 4 days. Quality right out of the box! you can tell this board was not thrown together quickly. PCB is nice and thick all the holes lined up perfectly. no problems at all during install of all components. using a phenom ii x4 910 on it overclocked with the software that came with this board. I couldnt be happier with my purchase! hte board runs nice and cool, i havent seen it get above 28 degrees celsius at all. only concern i have is that i plan on upgrading my ram to corsair dominator gt and im not sure if 4 sticks will fit. they may be too thick with the heat sinks. the software that comes with it is great, ASUS really knocked the ball out of the park again.

This ASUS board is flaky, unstable and unreliable. I am a retired computer tech with over 25 years of experience in PCs. I generally only buy ASUS motherboards. This one I got for my own use. I was a sour disappointment. It consistently failed to recognize my 4x CPU or if it did, it typically failed to use all 4 layers...only 3 at most - which worked ok but when you pay a premium price for a MB it should work as advertised. This one did not and does not. Too bad too as the specs are great but this board fails to measure up to its lofty ideals. It is being returned to AMAZON for a refund.
