I had been in the market for a tablet for a few months and I really didn't want to spend $600. I was in a Future Shop and saw the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 2 and it was my original choice. After using it for a bit I found it sluggish and went around the Tablet deck. I saw the TF300 and was immediately impressed. I went home and did some research and found it to be a great buy.

Make no mistake there is a reason this is $350-$400 and not $550-$660. The screen doesn't look as nice as The New iPad or the TF700 Infinity. But that being said there is a lot to like about this tablet.

It performs well, every once in a while it stumbles or the screen is slightly un-responsive (fixed by a quick turn off of the screen). But there is some great things. Out of the box I was able to upgrade to the newest version of Android (4.1 Jelly Bean) and it runs smooth. The Android environment is really great for a tablet as well, access to the file system and lots of productivity apps to make this tablet work-ready including Polaris Office which comes pre-installed. Combined with the keyboard dock if you need it and you could use this as a laptop depending on the programs you need.

I have been using the tablet for over a month now and I am really happy with it. It's fast, smooth and one of the better Android tablets on the market, and the value is excellent.

It is great.
It is fast, it has lots of space, it was cheap.
It has lots of settings for customization. Easy access to Wi-Fi, bluetooth, GPS, and brightness controls.
Nice big screen. Good resolution. It has a micro SD card slot for even more space, or even just to copy files to the tablet. Also has a micro HDMI out which makes it easy to connect to a TV making it easy to watch video (TV, movies, Youtube) with your friends/family.

I have had this pad for a few days and it is fantastic! GREAT specifications and battery life, especially with the optional docking station/keyboard. It is a bit small for my big grownup fingers but would be great as a first laptop for young students/children. Build quality is typically Asus i.e. GREAT! I ONLY WISH IT HAD 3G OR A SLOT FOR GSM so it could also be used as a cell phone. As is is now just teather it to my cell where there is no Wi-Fi. Love it other than this!

I got the tablet after careful reviews from various specialized IT websites. I must say that I'm very satisfied with the product. It performs well overall but does have some little lags from time to time, but nothing serious. Media consumption has never been easier and pleasant. It also comes packed with SuperNote and Polaris Office which are two great productivity tools. My only complaint would be that it is slightly too heavy in my opinion. All in all, a very good tablet and would recommend it to anyone looking for one.

This is the first gizmo of its type I have ever had, and its become a real favourite! I dont have a cell phone (land line for me), or laptop (big gaming rig desktop) or kindle or notepad or any other dang thing. I mention this because there was a bit of a learning curve for me on this tablet that I suspect others would be quite familiar with. In any case, it was easy to learn how to use it and the reality is, I got it for pure fun reasons.
I wanted to be able to access the net anywhere in my house/property to check out my sports pools or find out some rating of a movie or whatnot. It does this well. I also wanted to play the simple games/timewasters that you can get and I was able to get via the google play site many good ones for free (the hobbit, angry birds, simpsons).I got a bunch of other free apps but to be honest, I dont use them much, still, the point being there is lots of good free stuff out there for this tablet.
One of the reasons I got this Asus tablet was it got many excellent independent reviews regarding speed, power, price-point and so forth. My experience is thats all true and my buddies that do have the equivalent apple product both felt I got a great deal and one of them for sure would have bought this product if he had known how good it was at 2-3 hundred dollars less. The one thing reviews said apple was better at was the quality of the screen picture..I find that hard to believe as the colors and sharpness on this device are truely excellent.
There is not much of a down does have a few quirks. Once and a while it gets 'stuck' and you either have to restart it, or hold the on button down 8 sec (had to read the instructions for that one) to get it to reboot. Other than that, it has been reliable and fun.

What this tablet may lag a little in raw performance compared to my iPad 3, this unit more than makes up for it in other features. While this tablet lacks nothing as far as performance, in my opinion, it adds some things you can't get with an iPad: a USB port, a keyboard dock with a touchpad and battery life doubler, a micro SD and a full sized SD slot.

Combined with the freedom afforded by the Android operating system over Apple OS, this is an incredible value.

I've had my tablet for about a month now. I love it! This was my first tablet, and I've never owned a smart phone, so this was really my first time working with any OS other than Windows. The software is very intuitive, though maybe a little limited in how much the settings can be changed. I would have liked it if it came with a user guide (the one it came with just tells you what the buttons/plugs do), but it was easy enough to figure out by just playing around.

As for the physical tablet, It's solid. It feels substantial, and not like it's going to break if you drop it. The 10" screen makes a huge difference compared to 7" tablets. And it has a textured spiral design on the back, which I think gives it a little touch of flair.

The only complaint I have is that the OS is a little temperamental about playing online videos. Sometimes I load up a youtube video and it plays without any problem, then sometimes it won't play any video off youtube, saying I need to install flash. I think it has to do with Android updates, as they seem to update their software very frequently.

Overall I love this tablet! It's everything I wanted at a reasonable price. I do suggest getting a screen protector (big difference in the amount of fingerprints), and soon I will be investing in the keyboard dock with the extended battery (battery life is great, but more is better, right?) and USB port.
