And Blair, struggling with her own obsessions with her daughter's safety, becomes a witness in an arson investigation that has divided Live Oak. Evidence points to an environmentalist who has alienated much of the town. But Blair reports seeing a teenage boy running from near the latest fire. What she doesn't say is that he resembled the grandson of her beloved friend—a troubled teen struggling to hide his own painful past.
