New Modes
Assault Mode - Assault mode returns! Redesigned for UT2004, this fan-favorite mode sees teams face-off to defend and attack fortified bases, from fast-moving trains, barreling across an arid alien desert to a Skaarj mother ship, poised to attack the human home world.
Onslaught Mode- Onslaught mode takes team combat to the next level! Opposing teams are pitted against each other to capture and hold strategic points in order to attack and destroy the enemy power core. Taking place in massive outdoor environments, here is where vehicular combat comes into its own. Flying and driving machines take combatants to the frontline and gigantic mobile battle stations serve as a platform from which to launch devastating attacks.

Weapons
The entire smorgasbord of frag-dealing weaponry from Unreal Tournament 2003 returns for the experienced player to wield masterfully against new contestants. Those armaments are joined by three new implements of doom: the Mine layer, which disperses spider-like bombs that chase and harass any enemy that comes within range; the anti vehicle rocket launcher, or AVRiL, which deals out a payload of massive rockets tuned to seek and destroy enemy mechanized units; the Grenade Launcher, which launches timed explosives that will bounce on the ground and stick to enemies and enemy vehicles, only to be triggered by the weapons altfire command; and, the return of the notorious Sniper Rifle from the original Unreal tournament, completely redesigned and upgraded to make heads roll.

Review of the Unreal Tournament 2004 demo only for now....,

Before I begin....this is to the person who felt this game was too complicated and has only played the demo.... Please sell your computer, go play checkers, and spare us your opinion, its obvious your an idiot.NOW....with games like Team Fortress Classic & v1.5, the Half-Life series, Serious Sam 1 & 2, Unreal Tournament (forever a classic), and games also like Counter Strike and others like them we have fallen hard, and years later we are still playing them because they were made so well, and thoughtfully. I had found Unreal II and Unreal Tournament 2003 a bit of a disappointment after all it was the fault of the hipe. BUT...they were OK, the issue after all was RE-playability of those 2 games. Maybe once every 6 to 9 months you might throw it in and play again or sell them and move on. After playing the demo for Unreal Tournament 2004 it was enough to make me decide to buy the game. Incredible graphics, and the new twists on vehicles and map modes and styles are a great selling point. I can already tell that "ONSLAUGHT" is going to be a favorite. I am anxious to see the full game.. MY ADVICE IS TO DOWNLOAD THE FREE DEMO at www.fileplanet.com and try it for FREE first, make up your own mind. It only makes sense. I have already played the demo over and over, it gives you 6 game styles to try and a map for each. You can play it through in the demo. TRY ONSLAUGHT...you'll love it. It certainly appears I will get my money out of this one. My hope is I will play it as much as I did the original Unreal Tournament.

With reviews like;"Before I begin....this is to the person who felt this game was too complicated and has only played the demo.... So who's the idiot? ;-) Anyhow, This is a great game, lots of action, so you better be quick with the mouse clicks. However, if you're looking to buy it, DON'T BUY THIS VERSION! Get the Editors Choice Edition, it includes a number of major "mods" of "conversions". Much better value.
