Serious pie makers need this. One of the tools that when it's needed is invaluable. Lift that sticking bit. Support the crust as it's lifted into the pan. Wouldn't be without.

The item is great, I just didn't realize how big it would actually be! It's big. Get out a ruler before you order it and get a few smaller ones while you're at it.
