Wonderful read. Fascinating pictures. Jan. 8 2013

Having grown up in Athens, I find the pictures and history a wonderful read. Athens is not exactly the center of the universe -- as former residents, we are so fortunate to find an author dedicated to preserving our past. Thank you Ron Luce!

I enjoyed reading this booklet and I am planning on sharing it with my grand children.

I would have prefered a little less coal mining history, but I guess that was a significant factor.
