5.0 out of 5 stars Timeless Tales 5 Star Review, Oct 9 2003

This review is from: Atlantean's Quest I: The Arrival (Paperback)
by Nicole La Folle

Eros, King of the Atlanteans, has been told by the Seer that his mate is coming. She will be in great danger when she arrives. Once she arrives, he must not join with her until after the mating ceremony. Once they have successfully joined, she will bear a child who, even while in the womb, will activate the transport that will take his people back to their home world.

Rachel has dreamed of a well-endowed and handsome man for a long time, but it has been over two years since she has had a man in her bed. She wants to get ahead in her job at the museum and jumps at the chance to go on an expedition into the South American rain forest. Her two best friends try to talk her out of it, but she is determined to go.

Rachel arrives in South America to find the expedition has already suffered from sabotage and that at least one of the native guides has already lost his life. That evening when she goes to a pool near camp to bathe, she feels like she is being watched and decides to put on a show for whatever guide is spying on her.

Eros watches the woman he knows is destined to be his bring herself to climax. It is almost more than he can handle, but he restrains himself from joining her beside the pool. That night, after the camp is asleep, he slips into her tent and uses his extraordinary oral talents to pleasure the woman that will be his mate.

Atlantean's Quest: The Arrival is a sexy romp through the South American rain forest. Rachel is a woman finally learning how to go for what she wants. Eros is a hero who definitely fits his name and could easily be a sex god. Together, these two characters steam up the already steamy jungle setting. This is a fun paranormal adventure story with a touch of mystery giving it a singular flavor. The Atlantean culture created by Ms. Summers is wonderfully sexy and full of many interesting and unique traditions. I await with eager anticipation the next book in this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent New Twist On Atlantis!!, Sep 15 2008
By S. E. Hochstetler - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Atlantean's Quest I: The Arrival (Paperback)
Great, fast paced storyline. Can't wait to read the rest of the series. However, I will be downloading a ebook. The price is too high for such a short story.

5.0 out of 5 stars I highly recommend this book to those that enjoy erotic romance., Jan 8 2007

Dr. Rachel Evans longs for the man she dreams of, a lover in the jungle taking her among the cries of the animals that surround them. She has convinced herself that it is only a dream. But the dream lover does exist. His name is Eros, king of the Atlanteans. They are meant to be together.

Against the advice of her best friends Jaclyn and Brigit, Rachel eagerly accompanies Dr. Donald Rumsinger on an expedition into the jungles of the rainforest. They remind her that she has no field experience but Rachel knows this is something she must do. Anacondas and wild beast are only a few of the dangers Rachel must face. The deadliest danger is Dr. Rumsinger and his guides. Rumsinger is more evil than she could ever imagine, offering her as a sacrifice to the natives.

Eros stalks Rachel knowing that he already loves her. He rescues her from Rumsinger and takes her back to his tribe the Atlanteans, the survivors of Altantis, a peaceful people with great respect for women. The formal greeting of a man to a woman is for him to kneel before her and kiss her nipples. Ariel, the seer, has foretold of Rachel's arrival for she is the Queen of the people. The future of the Alantean's rests in the hands of Rachel a mere human. Rachel's unborn child is the key to transporting the tribe to the distant planet, their homeland.

WOW! What a book! "Atlantean's Quest: The Arrival" is a wonderful read. Eagerly I turned the pages to consume the adventures of Eros and Rachel. Eros is strong, yet gentle. Rachel is vulnerable yet able to overcome her fears. Rumsinger is despicable; I was hoping an anaconda would devour him. This is the first of a series. I can hardly wait to read the next installment. Jordan Summers is a very talented writer. I highly recommend this book to those that enjoy erotic romance.
