For Classical LP Collectors Feb. 7 2013
By Triodeotl - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This is one of the foremost books you can find on classical LP's. The book has label information on Mercury, RCA, EMI, Decca/London including Jubilee, SPA and Ace of Diamonds. Some of those listings are cross indicated with LP ratings from the Robert Moon book on Decca/London.

But this is not a ratings book. It is for collectors and lists every title and record number and even has a listing for L'Oiseau-Lyre which are Decca small scale recordings with exceptional sound.

It is a bargain for what it costs. Highly recommended for classical LP collectors. This is a lifetime of knowledge at your fingertips that would take years of research and reading to put in one place. This is the best and easiest way to get it.

Reference for connoisseurs Nov. 22 2012
By Abraxas - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This is not a product for those which are looking for guidelines.
It is a catalogue of pressings with few indications about the merits of the labels (that was my interest).
Not for beginners.
