Book Description

Feb. 1 2013

Turn the page, this begins a spellbinding journey of Audle Allison through his luminous life, fully transforming into an enlightened man—God man! His seventy years of difficult transformation and crystallizing pain also reveals the joy and humor of becoming more of the true self.

Audle, born in Missouri during the First World War, suffers from multiple health issues with amazing results. Nevertheless, his mother Effie dies of influenza before Audle fully recovers. Audle’s father, Oscar, is a workaholic, expressing a wealthy mentality. However, he loses everything in the Depression Era when the banks fail. After the family moves from their mansion to the poor side of town, Audle faces the hardships of poverty, family disagreements, and the cruelty of teenage gang fighters—yet inspires himself to get tough with body-building and sports.

Finally, he achieves the status of athletic hero, war veteran, and successful businessman. However, a midlife crisis brings him to his knees, asking, “What is life all about, and why am I here?” He is desperate for answers, which attract his teachers and gurus, who open his mind to a direct experience into God consciousness. Audle crystallizes his pain into wisdom as he propels his consciousness beyond the human veil. With mastery comes the amazing realization that to serve the divine self is the first priority. As a result, he realizes the Great Laws of the Universe and wants to share this philosophy. He begins his spiritual job by teaching meditation in Oklahoma City—a mystic in the Bible Belt. God has a sense of humor. The results of his teaching are astounding: emotional people smile; hippies get a job; happiness resolves depression; atheists find God; alcoholics transform their lives; hundreds of people find incredible peace in meditation. A new consciousness is born to humanity. Follow me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Audle Allison (a best kept secret) June 5 2013
Format:Paperback
I'm probably a little biased in my review of this book, because Audle was my spiritual teacher for about 10 years until he died. I thought I knew about everything about him and his life, but wow - this is as about a complete a biography as I could imagine. I like how Veronica intersperses Audle's teachings throughout.
Not only did Audle change my life and outlook, but his teachings will continue to guide me for probably many lifetimes. He was amazing. After he passed, I continued to get into other teachings and books, like Eckhardt Tolle, Course in Miracles, Unity Church, and so on, and they all touch on spiritual truths, lessons, and laws that Audle Allison talked about and demonstrated. But he revealed even deeper insights and techniques that could take the student as deep as he needed to. He taught with authority, but did not try to "show off" so to speak. He had been there and done that in previous lives. He was really about the wisest man I have known (regardless of his "imperfect grammar!).
Many wonderful teachers have come out of Audle's school, as it was set up to do. He told us if anyone asked what religion we were, it was The God Within.
God bless Audle Allison (Nirvana Nada).
God bless Veronica Elam for such an impressive labor of love!

3.0 out of 5 stars Great subject Sept. 14 2013

The subject of the book, Audle Allison, is a fascinating man and his knowledge and insights are wonderful. It's too bad the prose is almost unreadable in places, stilted, badly constructed, hard to decipher and redundant. This could have been a wonderful read with a good edit.

Veronica has written about her personal experience with Audle Allison in a way that lets the reader get to know his teachings in a personal way. Having personally listened to recordings of his lectures I appreciate her insights to his teachings. I'm grateful for the effort Veronica put into getting the book published.
