3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty fun, but probably not for serious gamers... July 27 2008

Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
My roommate and I ended up playing and beating this game over the course of 7 hours, and it probably would have been quicker if it had been easier to bend. For some reason, it was very difficult for our wiimotes to understand that we wanted to bend. Most of the game was pretty fun, except for a few levels - like the timed one with the giant owl spirit that we played about fifty times because of said bending issue, and I am definitely buying Into the Inferno. Also, the two-player aspect really makes the game. There are times when it's better to play with one person, like when you're sneaking past the guards into the Bei Fong estate, but it's really much better with another.

The other annoyance is the angle at which the game is played is sometimes difficult - sometimes you can't see what is in front of you, which is annoying. But I would definitely buy this game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun but hard Oct. 6 2008

This game is a lot harder to play that we expected. The coordination of using both remotes and remembering hand strokes for different spells/actions takes some getting used too. Still though, we have fun playing it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good-- Follows the story line June 15 2008

Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
Just got this-- it's pretty good. It is completely different than the first one. It basically follows the story line for the Earth book. Only two characters at a time play in the game-- you even get to be Zuko and Iroh for one of the episodes.
Note-- this does make the game more difficult...

For Pham-- I tried the crossing the falling sand for awhile and couldn't do it, then realized you need to wait between consecutive jumps (so instead of pressing jump, jump -- press jump, then wait 'til near the end of the first jump then press jump again right before he/she starts to fall-- this gets you further to the next stone). Also-- on hard parts of the game-- it's easier if only one person is playing...

3.0 out of 5 stars A review from the point of view of my 12 year old daughter... July 7 2011

I gave this game 3 stars instead of 5 because there is bad controls in some areas. There is an important move you have to do a lot through the game and half the time the wii controller won't register it when you do it!
Also, the cpu player isn't very good. Bedsides these two problems, it's a really fun game that gives you about 8 hours of game play. There are some mini games and extras on this game too.I would recomend this as long as you don't get frustrated easily.
4.0 out of 5 stars Bought it used, it works, good reseller but the game... March 24 2014

I bought this game used, it works as intended. The reseller described the condition well and were meant.
Delivery was also prompt.
On the bad side is a waving finger at THQ whom did not make a AAA game at all or did not care for testing its own product. "Yeeehaaa, we made a game on that platform, let's just copy/past on other platforms and it will be a green go"

My daughter and I tried countless times to get the girl in the game to freeze a bridge up and we just dropped it after we seriously tried (Roughly 15 minutes session each waving our arms in the air trying to find ways and correct manipulation but it never worked at all). It would start just a tad, or a bit, or at best almost half way freezing through then pooofffff, the bridge would melt.

THQ, I do not mind exercising, though it would be best if it can have a real purpose than just failing all the time.

I hope it is better on other platform because this game on Wii does not deserve more than half of a star.
