Format:Audio CD
I became a fan of Josh after I saw him in Ally McBeal -- I was so fascinated by his voice. At that time, I felt like the characters in that episode, not knowing what to expect, and I had such a wonderful surprise!
I have all his albums, I saw him in concert, and I am a big, big fun. As I'm writing this review, I watch the DVD for the nth time :) and it still feels like watching it for the first time :) I really love the song he does with Angelique (Pearls), it's not part of the original CD. And all the solos -- and Josh singing at piano, keyboards, drums, you don't get any of these from the CD :)

Here I thought I was ordering the DVD version of Josh Groban's most recent special on PBS' "Soundstage". What a neat surprise to find out this was a fully realized concert with terrific visuals and a much more stage-savvy performer, who clearly thrives on the adulation from his fans just as much as they swoon in his presence - the brief touch of his hand, his distinctive voice. Who else is even allowed to sing in multiple languages and still get this kind of 'rock star' response?! In early concerts, his performance never seemed to equal his vocal potential. Here you get to see his maturing confidence, his self-deprecating sense of humour, a drum solo (he's learning), and his very casual sexuality. If you're even close to being a 'Grobanite', you owe it to yourself to buy this.

I have all Josh Groban's DVD's, CD's and VHS' and have been a fan of his voice as well as the type of person he appears to be since he was 17. I can see the musical growth in both his CD's and his DVDs. "Noel" (CD) and "Awake" (DVD)are brilliant!
Now that he is with a new producer and making the next CD, I hope he still remains true to who he is in this next CD. I look forward to its release.

I will watch this dvd many times,as there is a lot to enjoy!Josh's singing is fantastic as usual. But seeing him and hearing him, is amazing. Read more
