Excellent Performance, July 2 2008

This performance by the Netherlands Bach society is perhaps to my ears one of the better performances of "Membra Jesu Nostri" The recording is excellent and the performers are all top class especially Johanette Zomer. The soprnao is especially good in track 9 where she performs Buxtehudes "Klaglied. The bass Bas Ramselaar is also good. Jos van Veldhoven is an excellent conductor of this top group of musicians.

I bought this recording after reading what others had to say about it; I am in awe of this music. Clarity and beauty come to mind along with profound feeling..I bought the recording for Easter but play it at any time when I need a spiritual uplift. Seller delivers on time; good service.

This performance of "Membra Jesu Nostri" is one of the most beautiful I have heard. Perhaps the most beautiful. Magnificent!
