This attractive and well made windup alarm clock has saved us from being late many mornings since we live in an area that gets frequent power outages. The windup key is easy to turn and provides enough feedback to let you know when it fully wound. The clock runs for well over 12 hours on a full wind, but might vary depending how long you let the alarm ring.I found that my clocks both ran a little slow out of the box, losing about 10 minutes or so over a day, but it was easy enough to adjust with the slider switch on the back (use a paper clip to reach in).
We also use these as travel alarm clocks as well.

From the moment the clock arrive it had probelms. The entire movement inside the clock moved when I tried to wind it. I finally took the back off and one screw holding it together was completely out and another bearly holding on. I put in the screws and hoped I had fixed the problem ... but ... no ... when the alarm goes off now it goes ...ding ... that is it ... one ding ... you have to be wanting to get up pretty bad to hear it.Jim Stigall
