Baby MacDonald is a wonderful video! It's filled with colour, movement, beautiful music, and charming video clips of farms around the world...there's everything from windmills in Holland and wheat fields in the Prairies to rice paddies in Asia. There's so much to look at in this video (including lots of animals!), my son never gets bored of it.
Also cute are the puppet shows inserted into the video...my son loves them. There's one where a cow is picking apples and they keep falling on her head, another where pigs are going down a slide into a mud puddle that my son giggles at every time!
This video is so cute that I really enjoy watching it with my son. I plan on getting more BE videos and I hope there are others as good as this one. (I already bought Baby Galileo and it was a HUGE disappointment!)
If you enjoy farms, animals, or the outdoors, get this video for your baby! Note: The DVD is better than the video because the special features are great--about another 20 minutes of puppets shows, singing, and stories!

This used DVD is fine and plays fine. I wasn't impressed with how it was sent. It wasn't bubble wrapped or anything. It was sent in a regular envelope and when I opened it the case was cracked and broken. Luckily the DVD was still okay. By the way, the case was not original- not the common white that baby Einstein always comes in. No big deal. If you're going to send a DVD in the mail, send it bubble wrapped! I'm just saying...

From 1 to 3 (or 30?) years old. Beautiful and fun. Never tired of it. Good music, good pictures and good investment.

My son really enjoys this one - he will watch the whole movie. I find the drawn images introducing the farm objects a little boring - as so does he, but the music & animals he seems to really enjoy - from 9 months up.

My 23 month old daughter absolutely loves watching this show as well as Neighborhood Animals. It has really encouraged her to make animal sounds, point and name each one and sing a cute version of e-i-e-i-o with hers being "e-o"
This is definitely one of her faves as well as ours.

My 15 month old has been watching Baby MacDonald since his 1st birthday and can't get enough of it. He can tell mommy what sound a cow, horse, and rooster make. He even points to the cows and horses he sees as we drive in the car. We have most of the Baby Einstein collection and he loves them all. Highly recommend getting the collection.

We let our 14 month old watch this video now it is requested everyday, multiple times. He is exposed to TV on occasion, but has never really paid much attention to it. He loves singing and dancing and likes this alot.
