5.0 out of 5 stars Two of Babylon 5 finest episodes from Season 1, Aug 13 2001

This review is from: Babylon 5 Volume 1.11 (VHS Tape)
The exciting conclusion to "A Voice in the Wilderness Part I" is a wonderful mixture of adventure and intrigue. EarthForce heavy cruiser Hyperion arrives to take control of the advanced technology discovered by Commander Sinclair (Michael O'Hare) and Lieutenant Commander Ivanova (Claudia Christian) deep within the rocky crust of Epsilon Three. Sinclair and Ivanova return with a mysterious alien, Varn (Curt Lowens), who is the dying keeper of the Great Machine on Epsilon Three. Unknown to Sinclair and Ivanova, he has appeared before Sinclair and Ambassador Mollari (Peter Jurasik), asking for their help. And soon he calls out to Delenn (Mira Furlan) and her mentor Draal (Louis Turenne). Meanwhile some of Varn's people have returned, threatening to destroy Babylon 5 and the cruiser Hyperion, whose captain (Ron Canada) is ready to call their bluff. What follows is an exciting conclusion as memorable as most of those found in the great episodes of subsequent seasons. In "Babylon Squared" space station Babylon 4 is pulled forward in time. Sinclair and Garibaldi (Jerry Doyle) mount a rescue mission to evacuate Bablyon 4's skeleton crew. Aboard the station, they meet with its commander, Major Krantz (Kent Broadhurst), who introduces them to the enigmatic alien Zathras (Tim Choate). Zathras warns them to leave Babylon 4 soon; the station will become the command center in a great war. In both episodes are important signs and portents that point to the forthcoming Shadow War and the human civil war which follows.

5.0 out of 5 stars Babylon 5 at it's best!, Feb 25 2001
This review is from: Babylon 5 Volume 1.11 (VHS Tape)
THIS TAPE INCLUDES TWO EPISODES

The first one is the second part of "Voice in the Wilderness", which introduce us with the Great Machine on E5.

The other one gives out hints of an interstellar war, of legacies from a thousand years ago and of a destiny that awaits. In the end the viewer may feel a bit curious, but the truth will come out in the two episodes of the Third Season, War Without End.

If you want a better understanding of the series, do not miss them.

5.0 out of 5 stars This video does have two episodes., May 29 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Babylon 5 Volume 1.11 (VHS Tape)
After posting the comment below, I went ahead and ordered the video anyway, and discovered that it does, like the other B5 videos, contain two episodes: Part II of Voices plus Babylon Squared. Columbia House rearranged the episodes to get the two parts of Voices on the same tape. this versiou runs all episodes in sequence.
